Excellent comments Mike! Whitney took piano lessons from your aunt. And I had even thought about taking lessons from her, but my self-pride kept me from acting. I can’t remember the last time I saw, maybe two years ago, she asked how Whitney was doing. A remarkable mind for a lady her age.

Let us rejoice in having known her.

I was appalled to hear about Don’s accident and death. He was a very knowledgeable fellow and had a number of interesting narratives I enjoyed hearing. He will be missed by many, me included. Fine man and straight shooter and those kind of guys are hard to find.

Sadly, this represents too many of us. I have a similar story – with an L instead of a C. Despite doing all the right “stuff”, there was this stone of unforgiveness in my heart. I just couldn’t get it out. One day God showed me I had a condition she had to meet before I would forgive: an apology. I could get past the behavior, get past the hurt . . . but I never got past wanting an apology.
It was so hard to release my need for an apology. I had to wrestle with that for several days. I guess for me vindication meant that she would where she had been wrong. And apologize.

To Mr. Roberts: we are certainly blessed! I love to think that Jehovah Sneaky had non-believers sign for a class led by a believer. He’s faithful to position the ones He’s pursuing, eh?

I’m right there with you Mike. With some offenses it takes us a while to get it and then begin the process of forgiveness. I’m so glad that God doesn’t work that way. I have a ways to go for some people in my past.
