\"\"<\/a>Yesterday began early. We were moving boxes at 7:30\u2014hang-up clothes from the storage unit to my sister-in-law\u2019s place\u2014so we can get to them more easily.<\/p>\n

Then Charlotte was off to yoga while I made my first visit to the house site. After that, I had calls to make\u2014cancel all the utilities for next week, and talks with the builder and a couple of subs.<\/p>\n

Then, I drove to Hidden Falls to hike the canyon road. Had a good visit with Byron and Jared at the corrals. Didn\u2019t get started down until 11:15 and was too hot to go as long as usual. But enjoyed every minute. HFR is always good for body and soul.<\/p>\n

Spent the afternoon and evening putting out fires\u2014chores for our rent properties, finding a new hot tub mover\u2014the first backed out on me and it has to go before house closing on Tuesday.<\/p>\n

Ate dinner at Leal\u2019s (the #4 and a side of Hatch queso), visited Jon\u2019s fam on the way home, cleaned out the utility room, and didn\u2019t get to bed (well, it\u2019s not exactly a bed; is it) until after 10:00. Too tired to write this blog.<\/p>\n

Now, I\u2019m smiling as I do. Because I loved every part of yesterday. Call it the joy effect. It\u2019s something I knew as a child, lost sight of as a young adult and rediscovered in my 40s.<\/p>\n
