Always.<\/p>\n<p>I miss that. In preretirement I dreamed of unstructured days where the sun and desire would direct me into a nirvana of creativity and contentment.<\/p>\n<p>It\u2019s not happening.<\/p>\n<p>I\u2019m learning that no structure is as bad as too much structure. Important things get sacrificed for the urgent\u2014or fun\u2014both are unacceptable.<\/p>\n<p>I think I can manage a compromise\u2014routine that allows for spontaneity and surprise, freedom with a place for the important.<\/p>\n<p>Will let you know.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Routine\u2014I\u2019ve had one all of my adult life.
