He calls it \u201ca time of lostness and emptiness before life resumes an intelligible pattern and direction.\u201d <\/p>\n<p>And Bridges says the inner transformation that needs to take place during this time can\u2019t be rushed. One can\u2019t hit the fast-forward button.<\/p>\n<p>Hard stuff for an impatient planner like me. But there is a silver lining. \u201cTake time to get away,\u201d writes Bridges.<\/p>\n<p>Hmm.
