I got my first negative review on Amazon. Came from a guy named The Darkside. Yep, a little spooky.<\/p>\n<p>Didn\u2019t know whether to purchase a lightsaber or string garlic around my computer.<\/p>\n<p>Anyway, Darkside\u2019s critique was insightful. Evidently, I \u201cstarted off good,\u201d but \u201cdragged on with little substance especially for a gen Xer.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>So I have two questions: One, what is a Gen Xer doing reading a retirement book, and, two, what would constitute \u201cmore substance\u201d for said generation? Maybe something from \u201cThe \u201cOutsiders\u201d? Say, \u201cStay gold, Pony Boy. Stay gold.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Also, Darkside said I had a lot of \u201cbaby boom\u201d references that \u201cflew over\u201d his head.<\/p>\n<p>Uh, excuse me Mr. DS, but current retirees ARE baby boomers.<\/p>\n<p>Finally, I\u2019m pretty sure Darkside outed himself in his last sentence where he complained that my book had too many appendices and reference pages.<\/p>\n<p>As I remember it, Darkside had the same issues in my Comp II class.<\/p>\n<p>***Check out my <a href=\"https:\/\/www.amazon.com\/Best-Yet-Be-Discovering-Retirement\/dp\/0578533790\/ref=sr_1_2?keywords=mike+bellah&amp;qid=1583589486&amp;sr=8-2#customerReviews\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">reviews on Amazon<\/a>:<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Well, it happened.
