For both beauty and adventure in Wyoming, you can\u2019t do better than the journey to Inspiration Point via the Jenny Lake Boat Shuttle. And for my dollar, the Sylvan Lake Trail in the Black Hills is the best short hike in South Dakota.<\/p>\n<p>These are three of the 64 fun walks and day hikes I describe in the 2025 update to <em>1001 Fun Things To Do in Retirement<\/em>.
