I am intrigued by the idea of walking as art and the walker as an artist. When I view great works of art, be they paintings or symphonies or novels, I wonder what it is that touches my soul. What is it about the creator that makes him or her able to produce that kind of magic?<\/p>\n
Graham says that walking as an artist will make us an artist in life as well, and in the end, we will experience the \u201cartist\u2019s joy in creation.\u201d<\/p>\n
Sounds like something worth discovering.<\/p>\n
In the next nine blogs (10 counting this one) I\u2019m going to examine Graham\u2019s essay (written in 1923, it\u2019s only five pages long) to find out what makes a walker an artist.<\/p>\n
