It was my first hike of the summer, and I decided to, once again, take my favorite trail.<\/p>\n<p>I guess it\u2019s my favorite because of all the memories. I\u2019ve traveled the 5 mile, out-and-back path dozens of times through the years with friends, family, Amarillo College colleagues and students. Just so you know\u2014I think of each of you every time I go.<\/p>\n<p>This trip was special\u2014new memories with new friends (relatively new). It\u2019s another thing that makes walking fun. The same walk is never the same when you take it with different people.<\/p>\n<p>On another note, since finishing the walking book, I\u2019m searching for a new blog subject.
